Description
This high cross is found in Co. Meath. The cross of St. Patrick and St. Columba is just one of 5 high crosses to be found in Kells monastery. Erected in the 9th century this cross stands 3,3 m tall and is made from sandstone. Scenes depicted on the cross include Adam and Eve, Daniel in the Lions Den and Cain slaying Abel.
