This high cross is found in Co. Offaly. The High Cross at Durrow was part of a monastery founded by St. Columba in 553 AD. The cross itself stands 3,6 m tall and is estimated to date from the 9th century. Scenes depicted on this cross include Christ with Sceptre and Cross Staff and Abraham sacrificing his son Isaac.
