Description
The Duleek high cross is found in Co. Meath. This sandstone cross stands 1,82 m tall and is thought to date from the 9th century. It combines both Celtic art and Christian themes, including knotwork, spirals, mazes, and scenes depicting the early life of the Virgin Mary and the Crucifixion.
