Description
The cross at Drumcliffe is found in Co Sligo. It is thought to date from the 11th century and is made of sandstone. It stands 3,83 m tall. This cross is unusual in that it features a camel in high relief and is the only Irish high cross to feature an icon of the Virgin and Child.
