Description
The Basque cross or Lauburu is a cross made by four comma-shaped heads. Composed initially of four ibex turning around a circle, this very old symbol could indicate the time’s movement in featuring the year broke it up in four seasons or the four life’s elements, that is to say water, earth, fire and air. It’s the main symbol of the Basque country.
